LinkedIn Blog: Purchasing cards — magic bullet of simplification

Over the last decade, I was a conceptual rival to the usage and expansion of procurement purchasing cards in daily procurement operations, but the recent changes and innovations in the digital global world has given rise to more and more significant opportunities to extend the areas where B2B cards can offer more direct and indirect advantages. Another important part of such benefit will be — simplification. For example, some services you can buy from cheaper start-uppers from Silicon Valley via various online platforms, instead of buying via invoice/contract from preferred conservative local vendors. So, the expansion of corporate payments has been integrated into the simplified and modern sectors and businesses, like we personally experience through paying for UBER or cleaning services or e-books or funding PayPal all done online, it is one of the magic bullets for additional digital performance and optimization of back-office functions. Any thoughts?
